Bucal, Calamba City, Laguna matapos magsagawa ng buybust operation ang mga operatiba ng Sto Tomas City Police Station ika-1:15 ng umaga ng Nobyembre 29, 2022 sa Brgy. Poblacion 2, Sto Tomas City, Batangas.
Ayon sa ulat ni Batangas Police Provincial Office Provincial Director PCOL PEDRO D SOLIBA kay PRO CALABARZON Regional Director PBGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, nasa higit kumulang 100 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng nasa P680,000.00 ang nasamsam mula rito.
Samantala, tatlong iba pang kasama sa Drug Watch List ng Sto Tomas CPS ang naaresto sa dalawa pang buy-bust operations ng naturang police station kung saan nakilala ang mga naarestong suspek na sina Leo Villanueva y Rimas at Rommelyn Afayart y Mangatsin dakong alas 10:28 ng gabi ng Nobyembre 28, 2022 sa Brgy. Poblacion 2, Sto. Tomas City kung saan nasa 25 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu ang nasamsam sa mga suspek. Nahuli rin si Marino Brazil y Bituin dakong alas 4:30 ng umaga ng Nobyembre 29, 2022 sa Brgy. Sta Clara ng kaparehong lungsod kung saan nasa 1.3 gramo ng hinihinalang shabu naman ang nakumpiska rito.
Isasailalim sa pagsusuri ng Batangas Provincial Forensic Unit ang mga narekober na ibedensiya. Nahaharap naman sa kasong paglabag sa RA 9165 o “Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002” ang mga naarestong suspek.
“Tuloy-tuloy ang pagsupil ng ating kapulisan sa iligal na droga. Higit po naming kailangan ang inyong kooperasyon para maging drug-free ang ating komunidad.
