Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite – Three persons allegedly behind the carnapping of a motorcycle were arrested by members of the Mendez Municipal Police Station in Barangay Panungyan 1, Mendez, Cavite on January 19, 2023.

The suspects were identified as Kim Alegre, 20; Joshua Alegre, 18; and Jerben Barsaga, 21, all residents of Mendez, Cavite while the victim was identified as Arnel Golez, 36, owner of a Honda Wave, motorcycle without sidecar, color black, model 2006.
On January 19, 2023, at 3:10 in the afternoon, the victim reported to the Mendez Municipal Police Station that his motorcycle had been carnapped.

That evening of January 18, 2023, the victim parked his motorcycle along the highway near his house, and when he woke up at about 8:00 in the morning, he discovered that said motorcycle was already missing.
Operatives of Mendez MPS immediately conducted an investigation and launched a follow-up operation that resulted in the arrest of the three suspects.

PBGen Jose Melencio C Nartatez Jr., Regional Director of PRO CALABARZON commended the operatives of the Cavite Police Provincial Office under the leadership of PCol Christopher F Olazo together with PMaj Lyman O San Juan, Officer-In-Charge, Mendez MPS for the immediate arrest of the three suspects in the carnapping incident.
“Ang inyong kapulisan ay hindi tumitigil sa paglaban sa kriminalidad. Tayo ay hindi magpapabaya anumang araw at panahon ay ipagpapatuloy ng Cavite pulis ang paghabol at paghuli sa mga masasamang loob at salot sa lipunan”, PCol Olazo said.###(CAVPIO)
