Camp BGen Vicente P Lim-Cavite 2nd District Representative Hon. Lani Mercado Revilla graced today’s Monday Flag Raising Ceremony coinciding with the Kick-off Ceremony of the Celebration of National Women’s Month with theme “We for Gender Equality and inclusive society” on March 6,2023 at PRO 4A Kiosk, Camp BGen Vicente P Lim, Calamba City.

The activity was highlighted with the awarding of PNP Personnel and Civilians for their significant accomplishment and exemplary performance in their respective units. Awardees in today’s Monday Flag Raising Ceremony were the following:

Delivering her message, the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Cavite 2nd District Representative Hon. Lani Mercado Revilla praised and thanked the honorees, as well as the entire PRO CALABARZON, for demonstrating solidarity and honoring Women’s Month. In her message, she emphasized the importance of protection of women’s right and the role of the community in protecting the rights and promoting the welfare of all the women of CALABARZON. “Let us strive every day to affirm and advance gender equality and promote an all-inclusive society. Lahat tayo ay nandito sa mundong ibabaw dahil may isang espesyal na babaeng nagluwal sa atin o asawa na nagbigay buhay sa inyong mga supling. The celebration of women’s month is a reminder to all of us to be in touch or embrace one’s feminine side. Mabuhay ang ating mga kapulisan na siyang tagapagtaguyod ng Karapatan at kapakanan ng mga kababaihan,” she said.

After the ceremony, women officers of PRO CALABARZON together with the Officers Ladies Club led by Mrs. Mary Rose O Nartatez availed the different medical services such as Eye Check Up and HPV Vaccination provided by the Regional Community Affairs and Development Office in cooperation with the PRO4A OLC and the Regional Medical and Dental Unit (RMDU) 4A. Likewise, a lecture on Financial Literacy was also conducted participated in by the same audience.

Meanwhile, PRO CALABARZON has prepared different activities for the month-long celebration of National Women’s Month to recognize the significant contributions of women in the police force and in the society.
