Graduating Students of De La Salle Univerity-Dasmariñas, Found Dead in her Dormitory Room

Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, Imus City, Cavite- The killing of one of the students of De La Salle on March 28, 2023, at Rolisa Dormitory, Brgy. Sta. Fe, Dasmariñas City, Cavite stunned the students, faculty and staff of the school.

The victim was identified as Queen Leanne Daguinsin y Monserrat, 22, a computer science student and a resident of Brgy. Bulilan Norte, Pila, Laguna were found dead inside her room. The caretaker of the dorm discovered the body of the victim without lower garments and scattered blood over her body after the victim's classmates were searching for her.

The Dasmariñas City Police Station received a report from Chairman Emmanuel Noora of Brgy. Sta Fe, Dasmariñas City regarding the incident. Immediately, Dasmariñas police proceeded to the crime scene and conducted an investigation. On a CCTV footage, at about 1:00 in the morning of March 28, 2023, the suspect climbed up the rooftop of the Aterrado Dormitory and then went to the second floor of Rolisa Dormitory, an adjacent dormitory where the victims' room was located.

Another footage showed that the suspect left the building as if nothing had happened. He was wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, black cap, and white slippers, bringing with him the undetermined belongings of the victim.

An autopsy was conducted by Police Major Pete C. Malinao, M.D., Medico-Legal Officer of Cavite Provincial Forensic Laboratory. Based on the result, the cause of death is due to Multiple Stab Wounds on the neck and body.

PBGen Melencio C Nartatez Jr., Regional Director, PRO CALABARZON, directed PCOL Christopher F Olazo, Provincial Director, and PLTCOL Juan P Oruga Jr., to use all available resources for the immediate arrest of the fleeing suspect.

Naglaan na rin ang Provincial Governor ng Cavite na si Hon. Juanito Victor "Jonvic" C. Remulla ng Php300,000.00 na cash reward o pabuya para sa sinumang makapagtuturo o makapagbigay ng impormasyon hinggil sa suspek.

Gayundin, nag alok din ng karagdagang Php300,000.00 pabuya si Senator Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr. para sa agarang ikakadakip ng suspek.

Nagbigay na din ng tig-Php100,000.00 sina Mayor Jennifer A. Barzaga, at Congressman Pidi Barzaga at Php300,000.00 naman mula sa pamahalaang lungsod ng Dasmariñas.

Sa kabuuan ay umabot na sa P1.1 milyon ang pabuya para mahuli ang suspek sa brutal na pagpatay sa isang dalagita sa Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

Kami ay hindi titigil hangga't hindi nahuhuli at makulong ang suspek na gumawa ng karumal-dumal na krimen na ito at mabigyan ng katarungan ang nangyari sa biktima.### (Cavite PIO)
