Arestado ang tatlong suspek sa isinagawang joint Buy-Bust Operation laban sa Loose firearms ng Laguna PNP noong Mayo 26, 2023.
Kinilala ni Police Colonel RANDY GLENN G SILVIO, Acting Provincial Director, Laguna PPO ang mga suspek na sila alyas Emon, Lito at Uoy pawang mga residente ng Sta. Maria Laguna.
Ayon sa ulat ni PMAJ ROBIN L MARTIN, Hepe ng Siniloan Municipal Police Station nagsagawa ng joint buy-bust operation laban sa loose firearms ang Siniloan Intelligence Personnel, Provincial Intelligence Unit (PIU) Laguna PPO at PSOU noong Mayo 26, 2023 ganap na 11:45 ng umaga sa Brgy. Halayhayin, Siniloan, Laguna na kung saan aktong nahuli nag bebenta ng isang caliber .45 ang mga suspect sa isang pulis na nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer kapalit ng buy-bust money.
Nakumpiska sa mga suspek ang isang (1) unit Cal. 45 Colt m1911 A1 US ARMY Pistol color black isang (1) pirasong magazine ng Cal .45, anim (6) na pirasong bala ng Cal. 45, isang (1) unit redmi A1 cellphone, isang (1) piraso Caliber .38 armscor revolver, anim (6) na pirasong bala ng Cal. 38, dalawang (2) pirasong authentic one thousand Peso bill (Php1,000), 18 piraso ng one thousand peso bill (Php1,000) na boodle money, isang (1) piraso Black bag at isang (1) unit color black Mitsubishi Mirage with plate number NBT 8911.
Ang mga arestadong suspek ay kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Siniloan MPS na nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa R.A 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) samanta ang mga kumpiskadong ebidensya ay isusumiti sa Crime Laboratory para sa ballistic examination.
Ayon sa pahayag ni PCOL SILVIO, “Ang operasyon ng Laguna PNP laban sa loose firearms ay mas pinaigting upang hindi na magamit pa ang mga baril na ito sa iba pang mga kriminalidad na maaring maganap dito sa Laguna. Hindi namin papayagan na kumitil o bumawi ng buhay ng iba ang mga baril na ito. Bilang pag tugon sa panawagan at direktiba ng ating Regional Director PRO CALABARZON, PBGEN CARLITO M GACES at Chief PNP, PGEN BENJAMIN C ACORDA JR na sugpuin lahat ang kriminalidad sa ating nasasakupan at palakasin ang kampanya laban sa mga loose firearms.” #gtgacana
