Camp BGen Pantaleon Garcia, City of Imus- PCOL ELEUTERIO M RICARDO JR announced the arrest of the four (4) drug suspects and confiscation of more or less 2,200 grams of suspected illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation launched by the Provincial Drug Enforcement Unit and Dasmariñas Component City Police Station in Brgy. Paliparan 3, City of Dasmariñas, Cavite on September 26, 2023.
Suspects were identified as Alias “Jayson”, “Ray”, “Mark” and “Noel; all of the suspects were resident of City of Dasmariñas, Cavite.
The suspects were apprehended after they were caught in the act of selling Marijuana to a police officer who acted as a poseur buyer. Seized from the suspects were two (2) plastic wrap brick containing dried leaves stem; four (4) ziplock of suspected marijuana; two (2) android phones; one (1) backpack; one (1) five hundred peso bill; and 14 pieces one (1) thousand peso bill boodle money used as buy bust money. Seized illegal drugs weighing more or less 2,200 grams of suspected Marijuana with a standard drug price of Php264,000.00.
The arrested suspects were under the custody of PDEU – Cavite Police Provincial Office while a case for Violation of R.A. 9165 were now being prepared against the suspects before turned over to Dasmariñas CCPS.
The confiscated pieces of evidence will be brought to Cavite Provincial Forensic Unit, City of Imus, Cavite.
