Senate Majority Leader Joel Villanueva led the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Payout to 800 beneficiaries in Sta. Rosa, Laguna on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. In his speech, Villanueva said that the budget for the Increased Monthly Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Act which he principally sponsored in the 18th Congress will be fully funded in the 2024 budget. The law mandates a 100% increase in the monthly pension of indigent senior citizens from P 500 to P 1,000. Together with Villanueva are Congressman Dan Fernandez, Sta Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas and Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas.

Rosa, Laguna ngayong Martes, October 3, 2023. Tiniyak ni Villanueva na may pondo sa susunod na taon para sa Increased Monthly Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizens Act na kanyang inisponsoran noong 18th Congress. Minamandato ng batas ang 100% increase sa buwanang pension ng mga indigent senior citizens mula P 500 na naging P 1,000. Kasama ni Villanueva sina Congressman Dan Fernandez, Sta. Rosa City Mayor Arlene Arcillas at Vice Mayor Arnold Arcillas.
