Highway Patrol Group CALABARZON Arrested three (3) Most Wanted Persons in the Province of Rizal (Provincial Level) with WOA for Violation of RA 10883 (NEW ANTI-CARNAPPING LAW)

Regional Highway Patrol Unit 4A under the supervision of Regional Chief RHPU4A, PCOL ROMMEL C ESTOLANO, successfully carried out simultaneous anti-carnapping operations that resulted in the arrest of three (3) Most Wanted Personalities, LLOYD DACULA y DEGONES, MARKBASIGSIG y REYES, and JEAN CHRISTIAN FAUSTINO, with WOA for Violation of New Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (RA10883), (MWP, Provincial Level, Rizal PPO)

On February 21, 2024 at about 10:30 AM at Verde Oro East Plaza Manila East Road Brgy San Juan Taytay, Rizal. Joint Elements of PHPT RIZAL (LEAD UNIT) led by PEMS Aaron Ezrah Cabillan Deputy, Provincial Officer with PEMS Darwin C Dionisio and PCpl Paul Angelo Menor under the direct supervision of PCAPT MARK PHILIP S ALMEDILLA, Provincial Officer PHPT-Rizal together with Taytay MPS Warrant Section, conducted operation against MWP that supported by Philippine Anti Organize Crime Commission (PAOCC), which resulted in the arrest of JEAN CHRISTIAN FAUSTINO, 27 years old, single, collection specialist, born on February 16, 1997 in Pasig City, presently residing at SNMC Compound Melendrez Brgy San Isidro Taytay, Rizal.

On same date at about 3:30 PM at Zuri Subd Cabrera Road Brgy Dolores Taytay, Rizal. Joint Elements of PHPTRIZAL (LEAD UNIT) led by PEMS AARON EZRAH CABILLAN Deputy Provincial Officer together under the direct supervision of PCAPT MARK PHILIP S ALMEDILLA Provincial Officer of PHPT Rizal together with Taytay MPS Warrant Section conducted operation against MWP, supported by Presidential Anti-Organized Crime Commission (PAOCC) which resulted in the arrest of Most Wanted Personalities;
a) LLOYD DACULA y DEGONES, 39 years old, married, Repossessor/Collection Specialist, born on October 20, 1984, in Capiz Roxas City; and
b) MARK BASIGSIG y REYES, 23 years old, Married Field Officer, born on September 4, 2000, in Marikina City, presently residing at Vhonay 2 Area Dela Paz Cupang Antipolo City. The above name was arrested by Warrant of Arrest for the crime of RA 10883 CARNAPPING docketed under Criminal Case Number 24-118-MAL issued on February 20, 2024 by HON ROSARTO GOMEZ INEZ PINZON, Presiding Judge RTC Branch 290 Malabon City with bail recommended PHP 300,000.00.

The accused was informed of the cause of his arrest and his constitutional rights (Miranda doctrine) and anti-torture law. Further, the accused is presently under the custody of PHPT RIZAL after which turned over to Taytay MPS Lock up jail. The warrant of arrest was being prepared by the PHPT RIZAL office for the return to the court of origin.

The outstanding accomplishment of RHPU4A is the result of intensified Anti-Carnapping Operations of the Highway Patrol Group under the Leadership of PBGEN ALAN M NAZARRO, In line with the CPNP’s Aggressive and Honest Law Enforcement operations against carnapping, highway robbery, and other forms of criminality along the highway.
