Calamba, Laguna – Officials and members of the PARTIDO FEDERAL NG PILIPINAS of Calamba City Chapter were formally sworn in last February 20, 2024.

Witnessed a significant event as officials and members of the PARTIDO FEDERAL NG PILIPINAS (PFP) in Calamba City Chapter were formally sworn in. Led by PFP National President Atty. Leandro Verceles Jr., this ceremony marked not only a moment of commitment for the local chapter but also a milestone in the broader context of political engagement and community development within the region.

Atty. Leandro Verceles Jr. underscored the importance of Calabarzon as a model region, lauding its well-organized system and proactive approach to expanding party membership. He emphasized that the swearing-in ceremony in Calamba serves as an exemplary model for similar events across the nation. This recognition not only elevates the significance of the occasion but also highlights the potential for Calamba’s practices to inspire other towns and cities in the Philippines.

Regional Chairman Roosevelt “Gaspoy” Legaspi echoed Atty. Verceles’s sentiments, emphasizing the gradual organization of officers and members throughout Region 4-A. He stressed the importance of local leaders taking the oath of office in their constituents, thereby reinforcing their commitment to serving the community. Mr. Gregg Nicdao, President of the PFP Calamba City Chapter, outlined his plans to enhance food sufficiency programs within local households. Inspired by the concept of urban gardening, Nicdao envisions a community-driven initiative that promotes self-sustainability and healthy living. By encouraging residents to grow vegetables in small spaces such as buckets or containers, the chapter aims to address food insecurity while fostering a deeper connection between individuals and their environment.

In addition to the leadership at the national and regional levels, the swearing-in ceremony in Calamba City also saw the participation of prominent figures such as Regional Directors Mr. Edwin Chiong and Al Faizal Salambatan Abdulajid.
