A joint operation conducted on April 6, 2024, at 9:00 in the evening, involving the collaborative efforts of PDEA Laguna Provincial Office, PDEA Rizal Provincial Office, and the Antipolo City Police Station, led to the dismantling of a drug den in Barangay Santa Cruz, Antipolo City. The operation resulted in the arrest of five individuals, including the suspected maintainer of the drug den.

The arrested individuals were identified as follows: Jaycee Ryan Bernardo, aged 40, alleged drug den maintainer; Randy Mendoza, aged 43; John Christopher Tributo, aged 29; Alberto Verias, aged 57; and Miguel Diciembre, aged 36. All suspects were residents of Barangay Santa Cruz, Antipolo City.

Seized during the operation were approximately 10 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of Php68,000.00, along with buy-bust money and various drug paraphernalia.

Preparations are underway to file cases against the suspects for violating The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. This significant operation underscores the ongoing efforts of law enforcement agencies to combat the proliferation of illegal drugs and ensure the safety and well-being of the community.
