Calamba City, Laguna – Sa isang patuloy na pagpupursige upang magbigay ng mahusay na serbisyo sa mamamayan, ibinahagi ni Mayor Ross Rizal ang ika-28 at ika-29 na service vehicle para sa 54 na barangay ng Calamba, partikular na sa Barangay Makiling at Milagrosa, nitong ika-3 ng Mayo, 2024.

Sa ginanap na seremonya, ipinahayag ni Mayor Rizal ang kanyang kasiyahan sa pagtanggap ng mga bagong sasakyan, na magiging malaking tulong sa mga lokal na opisyal upang mas mapabilis ang kanilang pagtugon sa mga pangangailangan ng kanilang komunidad.

Kasabay ng pagtanggap ng mga bagong service vehicle, ipinaalam din ni Mayor Rizal ang iba pang mga proyektong matagumpay na natapos at kasalukuyang nasa ilalim ng konstruksiyon sa Calamba. Kasama rito ang pagtatapos ng Jose Rizal Coliseum, na isa sa mga pangunahing pasilidad sa lungsod, pati na rin ang 95% na pag-unlad ng Calamba City Hospital.

Dagdag pa rito, inihayag din ni Mayor Rizal ang mga darating na proyekto tulad ng dialysis center, diagnostic center, at mga tanggapan para sa mga samahang sibiko. Kasama rin sa mga plano ang pagtatayo ng bagong paaralan para sa pitong barangay na Integrated High School, pati na rin ang pagbibigay ng libreng mga gamit at tatlong uniporme para sa mga estudyante mula kindergarten hanggang senior high school.

Sa aspeto naman ng programa para sa mga barangay, nagbigay si Mayor Rizal ng mga pagbabago sa benepisyo para sa mga opisyal tulad ng pagtaas ng sahod para sa Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSO) mula 500 piso hanggang 1,000 piso.

Bukod pa rito, naglaan din siya ng libreng scholarship para sa mga Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) upang makapag-aral ng libre, na nagbibigay ng karagdagang oportunidad sa kanilang pagpapalakas ng kanilang mga kaalaman at kasanayan.

Sa kanyang mensahe, tiniyak ni Mayor Rizal ang patuloy na suporta at tulong ng lokal na pamahalaan para sa mga barangay, na naglalayong mapalakas ang serbisyo at benepisyo para sa lahat ng mamamayan ng Calamba. Patuloy niyang pinangako ang pagpapatupad ng mga programa at proyekto na maglilingkod sa kabutihan at kaunlaran ng lungsod.

Kasabay ng pagdiriwang, nagpasalamat si Kapitana Aigrette Lajara ng Brgy. Makiling sa tinanggap na Travis All-around Service Vehicle, inilarawan niyang isang simbolo ng positibong pagbabago sa kanilang barangay. Patunay ito na sa maiksing pagupo ni Mayor Ross Rizal, kung saan ramdam na ramdam na ang pag-unlad at pagbabago.

Gayundin, nagpahayag ng pasasalamat si Kapitan Randy Sulit, na nagsaad na gagamitin ang ipinagkaloob na Travis sa kapakanan ng bawat mamamayan ng kanilang barangay.

Nagpapasalamat din ang mga kawani ng Barangay Makiling sa suporta at tulong na kanilang natanggap mula sa lokal na pamahalaan.

Bilang karagdagan, binigyan din ng kaunting ayuda ang lahat ng dumalo sa Covered Court, Brgy. Makiling, bilang pasasalamat sa kanilang suporta sa nasabing okasyon.

Calamba City, Laguna – In a continued effort to provide excellent service to its constituents, Mayor Ross Rizal handed over the 28th and 29th service vehicles to the 54 barangays of Calamba, particularly to Barangays Makiling and Milagrosa, on May 3, 2024.

During the ceremony, Mayor Rizal expressed his delight in receiving the new vehicles, which will greatly aid local officials in responding more efficiently to the needs of their communities.

Alongside the provision of the new service vehicles, Mayor Rizal also revealed other successfully completed projects and ongoing constructions in Calamba. These include the completion of the Jose Rizal Coliseum, a key facility in the city, as well as the 95% progress of the Calamba City Hospital.

Furthermore, Mayor Rizal announced upcoming projects such as the establishment of a dialysis center, diagnostic center, and offices for civic organizations. Plans also include the construction of a new school for seven barangays, the Integrated High School, and the provision of free supplies and three uniforms for students from kindergarten to senior high school.

In terms of barangay programs, Mayor Rizal implemented changes in benefits for officials such as increasing the salary for Barangay Public Safety Officers (BPSO) from 500 pesos to 1,000 pesos.

Additionally, he allocated free scholarships for Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) to pursue education, providing them with additional opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills.

In his message, Mayor Rizal assured continued support and assistance from the local government to the barangays, aiming to strengthen services and benefits for all citizens of Calamba. He reiterated his commitment to implementing programs and projects that will serve the welfare and development of the city.

In conjunction with the said program, Barangay Captain Aigrette Lajara of Brgy. Makiling expressed gratitude for receiving the Travis All-around Service Vehicle, describing it as a symbol of positive change in their barangay. She emphasized the noticeable progress and development since Mayor Ross Rizal assumed office.

Similarly, Captain Randy Sulit expressed gratitude, stating that the provided Travis will be utilized for the welfare of every citizen in their barangay.

The employees of Barangay Makiling also expressed their gratitude for the support and assistance they received from the local government.

As part of the celebration, attendees at the Covered Court, Brgy. Makiling, were also given some assistance as a token of appreciation for their support at the event.
