Calamba City, Laguna – Isang makasaysayang araw ang naganap sa Laguna ngayong Hulyo 20, 2024, na pormal ng binuksan ang headquarters ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP) na matatagpuan sa San Pablo City, Laguna. Ang nasabing kaganapan ay dinaluhan ng iba’t ibang opisyal at bagong miyembro ng partido, na nanumpa sa harap ng mga lider ng PFP.
Sa kanyang talumpati, pinasalamatan ni Vice Governor Atty. Karen Agapay ang lahat ng dumalo at ang mga bagong kasapi ng partido. Aniya, ang pagbubukas ng headquarters ay isang hakbang upang mas mapalapit ang serbisyo ng partido sa mga miyembro nito sa Laguna. Lubos din niyang pinasalamatan sina PFP National President Governor Reynaldo Jun Tamayo Jr. ng South Cotabato, Secretary General Ret. General Thompson GT Lantion, at Regional Chairman Eros San Juan sa kanilang suporta.
“Sa loob ng sampung (10) taon bilang inyong Vice Governor, maraming salamat sa tiwala at karanasang inyong ibinigay sa akin. Ito ang unang pagkakataon sa kasaysayan ng Laguna na may isang Vice Governor na nakapagtapos ng termino na walang kinasangkutang kontrobersiya, korupsyon, o iskandalo. Bukod dito, ako rin ang kauna-unahang Vice Governor na naging Presidente ng Liga ng mga Bise Gobernador sa buong Pilipinas, hindi lang isang beses kundi dalawang beses,” ani Agapay.
Samantala, nagbigay din ng mensahe si Board Member Boy Zuñiga. Nangako siya na tutulungan si Vice Governor Agapay na matutukan ang mga barangay sa malalayong lugar ng probinsya. Iminungkahi rin niya ang pagkakaroon ng taunang 1 milyong piso na budget para sa bawat barangay upang magamit sa pagbili ng mga gamot at pagpapaunlad ng serbisyo sa kanilang nasasakupan.
Ang seremonya ay isang pagpapakita ng pagkakaisa at dedikasyon ng Partido Federal ng Pilipinas sa kanilang adhikain na mapabuti ang buhay ng mga Pilipino, lalo na sa mga pamayanan sa Laguna. Ang pagbubukas ng bagong headquarters ay nagsisilbing simbolo ng bagong simula at mas pinaigting na serbisyo para sa bayan.
