On August 24-25, 2024, the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair took place at Aboitiz Pitch, LIMA Park, Lipa City, Batangas, highlighting the government’s commitment to improving public service accessibility and fostering inter-agency collaboration. The Philippine Statistics Authority – Regional Statistical Services Officer 4A (PSA RSSO 4A) played a pivotal role in the event by making vital civil registration and national identification services more accessible to the public.

Recognizing the importance of reaching underserved communities, PSA RSSO 4A set up a comprehensive Help Desk to address a wide range of civil registration concerns. Additionally, they facilitated PhilSys Step 2 Registration, crucial to the national identification system rollout. A significant milestone was achieved as 385 civil registry documents, including birth, marriage, and death certificates, were processed and issued on the same day.

To further their mission, PSA RSSO 4A distributed various information, education, and communication materials, educating the public on the importance of civil registration and the national ID system. The PSA’s active participation alongside other government agencies at the fair not only provided immediate benefits to the public but also underscored the effectiveness of coordinated government efforts in addressing the needs of the Filipino people.
