QUEZON — Isang fishing boat na may sakay na 15 mangingisda ang nawawala sa karagatan malapit sa Polillo group of island sa Quezon.
Ayon sa Coast Guard Station Northern Quezon, patuloy pa rin ang isinasagawang paghahanap ng kanilang search and rescue team sa fishing boat FBCA SHAN na napaulat na nawawala matapos na abutan ng masamang panahon habang nagingisda sa may bahagi ng Pacific Ocean.
Dagdag pa ng PCG, huli itong namonitor at nakontak nitong Lunes ng madaling araw September 2, habang kausap ang isa pang fishing boat at nagbabalak kumanlong at dumaong sa isang isla sakop ng Burdeos, Quezon subalit hindi na umano nakarating sa lugar ang fishing boat.
Ang bangka na kilala sa lokal na tawag na “pamiwasan” ay umalis sa port sa Barangay Dinahican sa Infanta, Quezon noong pang August 18 para mangisda sa may Pacific Ocean sakay ang 15 mangingisda kabilang ang kapitan.
Samantala, 4 na mangingisda mula naman sa Perez, Quezon ang napaulat ding nawawala.
Umalis ang Banca Roda 1 noong August 28. 2024 bandang alas 3 ng hapon sakay ang 4 na mangingisda at nagtungo sa bahaging karagatan ng Pacifico ngunit hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay hindi pa rin nakakabalik.
Nagsagawa na din ng search and rescue operation ang mga awtoridad ngunit hindi pa rin nila natatagpuan ang mga mangingisda.
