Tatlong hinihinalang tulak ng droga ang naaresto matapos makumpiskahan ng iligal na droga at baril sa isang buy-bust operation na isinagawa ng Taytay Drug Enforcement Team sa Sitio Pag-Asa, Brgy. Sta. Ana, Taytay, Rizal, madaling araw ng Setyembre 18, 2024.

Ayon kay Police Colonel Felipe B. Maraggun, Provincial Director ng Rizal, kinilala ang mga suspek na sina Alyas Tatay, 50 anyos; Alyas Che, 47 anyos, isang manikyurista; at Alyas Loloy, 31 anyos, isang drayber ng traysikel. Lahat ng mga suspek ay residente ng Taytay, Rizal.

Nahuli ang tatlo matapos magpositibo ang isinagawang operasyon kung saan isang undercover police operative ang nakabili ng isang pakete ng hinihinalang shabu mula sa mga suspek.

Nakumpiska kay Alyas Tatay ang 7 pakete ng umano’y shabu, habang 2 pakete ng shabu at isang kalibre .45 na baril na may 7 bala at isang magazine ang nakuha kay Alyas Loloy.

Sa kabuuan, tinatayang nasa 50 gramo ang kabuuang bigat ng nakumpiskang droga na may halagang P340,000 base sa Standard Drug Price.

Ang mga suspek at ang nakumpiskang ebidensya ay dinala sa Rizal Provincial Forensic Unit para sa tamang disposisyon. Sa ngayon, nasa kustodiya na ng Taytay Custodial Facility ang mga suspek at nahaharap sila sa mga kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 (RA 9165) at Firearms Law (RA 10591).

Nagpahayag ang Rizal PNP na hindi sila titigil sa pagtugis sa mga iligal na aktibidad sa probinsya, at patuloy nilang poprotektahan ang mga mamamayan laban sa droga at iba pang kriminalidad.
