Lalaki, Arestado Dahil sa Pagtataglay ng Ipinagbabawal na Gamot sa Caloocan

Setyembre 19, 2024, Caloocan City – Isang 51-anyos na lalaki ang naaresto noong Huwebes ng madaling araw sa Barangay 176, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City matapos maaktuhan na nagtataglay ng hinihinalang ipinagbabawal na droga.

Kinilala ang suspek na si Randy Once Tan, walang trabaho, residente ng nasabing lugar. Ayon sa ulat, kasalukuyang nagsasagawa ng foot patrol ang mga tauhan ng East Bagong Silang Police Substation 13 nang isang concerned citizen ang lumapit at nagbigay ng impormasyon tungkol sa bentahan ng droga sa kanilang lugar.

Agad na nagresponde ang mga awtoridad at pinuntahan ang lugar kung saan namataan nila ang dalawang lalaking tumutugma sa ibinigay na pagkakakilanlan ng concerned citizen. Nang lapitan ng mga pulis, biglang tumakbo ang isa sa mga suspek na kalaunan ay nakilalang si Randy Once Tan. Habang tumatakbo, nahulog mula sa kanya ang isang plastic sachet na may lamang hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 0.45 gramo at may tinatayang halaga na PHP 3,060.00.

Agad na inaresto si Tan at binasahan ng kanyang mga karapatan. Ang suspek ay nai-turn over na sa Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at proseso.

Si Tan ay nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa RA 151 (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority) at Section 11 ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
