Setyembre 20, 2024, Caloocan City — Isang 19-taong-gulang na lalaki ang inaresto noong Biyernes ng madaling araw sa Barangay 174, Camarin, Caloocan City, matapos maaktuhan ng kanyang magulang na may hawak na plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu.

Kinilala ang suspek na si Jepperson Jason Juanito y Valles, 19 taong gulang, walang trabaho, at residente ng #2157 Champaca Extension, Brgy. 174, Camarin, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, ang mag-asawang sina Lolita Juanito y Valles, 50 taong gulang, at Joseph Juanito y Entrina, 48 taong gulang, na parehong nakatira sa parehong address, ay personal na lumapit sa opisina ng Cadena de Amor Police Substation 11 upang iulat ang kanilang anak. Ayon sa magulang, nakita nila ang kanilang anak na may dalang isang plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu. Agad namang rumesponde ang mga pulis matapos matanggap ang ulat.

Pagdating ng mga awtoridad sa lugar, nakita nila ang suspek na nakatayo sa harap ng kanilang bahay ngunit bigla itong tumakbo. Matapos ma-corner, nakuha mula sa suspek ang isang plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 3.1 gramo, na tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng PHP 21,080.00.

Agad inaresto ang suspek at binasahan ng kanyang mga karapatan. Siya ay dinala sa Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at kasalukuyang nahaharap sa kasong paglabag sa RA 151 (Resistance and Disobedience to a Person in Authority) at Section 11 ng RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
