Isang matagumpay na buy-bust operation ang naisagawa ng Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) ng Caloocan City, sa pangunguna ni PLT Restie Mables at sa ilalim ng direktang superbisyon ni PCOL Paul Jady D. Doles, Chief of Police ng Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS).

Arestado ang mag-live-in partner na sina Mikee Temporas y Ocampo, alyas “Ike,” 25 taong gulang, walang trabaho, at residente ng No. 6343 Libis Espina, Barangay 18, Caloocan City. Si Temporas ay itinuturing na isang high-value target at dati nang nakulong dahil sa mga kasong may kaugnayan sa droga. Naaresto siya muli nitong Huwebes, Setyembre 26, 2024, matapos makuha mula sa kanya ang isang pirasong plastic sachet na naglalaman ng hinihinalang shabu, kasama ang isang coin purse na may tatlong pirasong plastic sachet ng hinihinalang shabu. Si Temporas ay nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Section 5 at Section 11 ng Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

Ayon sa ulat ng mga operatiba ng SDEU, isang police corporal ang nagpanggap bilang poseur buyer. Matapos ang transaksyon, agad na nagpakilala ang mga pulis, na nagresulta sa pag-aresto kay Temporas. Nakuha mula sa kanya ang isang sachet ng hinihinalang shabu at marked money, na kalaunan ay natukoy na pag-aari ng kanyang kasamahan na si Ledge Francisco y Duluguin, 42 taong gulang, crane operator, tubong Misamis Oriental, at residente ng Phase 1C, Bonito St., NBBS, Navotas City. Si Francisco ay nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Section 11 at Section 26 ng RA 9165.

Narekober mula sa mga suspek ang kabuuang limang sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may timbang na 52 gramo at tinatayang nagkakahalaga ng PHP 353,600.00. Ang mga suspek ay kasalukuyang nahaharap sa mga kasong paglabag sa Section 5, Section 11, at Section 26 ng RA 9165.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang mga suspek ay nasa kustodiya na ng SDEU para sa karagdagang proseso.
