May kasabihan na “Ang puno kapag hitik sa bunga ay binabato”
Sa kabila ng patuloy na maling batikos at mga paninira mula sa kanyang mga kalaban sa politika, nanatiling kalmado si Mayor Ross Rizal at ipinahayag ang kanyang dedikasyon sa pagseserbisyo sa bayan ng Calamba. Ayon sa kanya, sa kanyang unang termino bilang alkalde, patuloy niyang isinusulong ang mga proyekto at programa para sa mga mamamayan.
“Hindi ako tumitigil, gusto kong maramdaman ninyo ang mga pagbabagong nais natin. Halos araw-araw akong nasa city hall at bumibisita sa mga barangay para marinig ang boses ng lahat,” ani Mayor Rizal. Tiniyak din niya na sa tuwing may trahedya o sakuna, agad siyang naroroon para magbigay ng tulong sa mga apektadong residente.
Nagpahayag din si Mayor Rizal ng tiwala sa talino ng mga taga-Calamba, na hindi aniya nagpapadala sa mga “matamis at mabulaklak na salita” ng mga naninira. Nanawagan siya sa mga mamamayan na manatiling kalmado at patuloy na suportahan ang kaniyang administrasyon, na tinawag niyang “Calambagong Pamahalaan.”
Sa pagtatapos ng kaniyang mensahe, binigyang-diin ni Mayor Rizal ang kaniyang maka-Diyos at maka-Rizal na pananaw sa pamamahala, at nag-iwan ng positibong pagbati sa mga Calambeño.
“Hindi po ako titigil,” pagtatapos niya, “patuloy kong isusulong ang mga pagbabagong nararapat para sa bawat isa sa atin.”
