Mga Programa ni Mayor Ross Rizal, Patunay ng Pag-unlad ng Calamba

Sa kabila ng mga batikos at alegasyon na walang nagawa si Mayor Roseller “Ross” Rizal, patuloy na ipinapakita ng kanyang administrasyon ang mga konkretong resulta ng kanyang mga programa sa loob lamang ng dalawang taon. Ang tinaguriang CalamBagong Pamahalaan ay nakapaghatid ng iba’t ibang proyekto at serbisyo para sa mga mamamayan ng Calamba.

Isa sa mga pinakamalaking tagumpay ay ang pagkakaloob ng libreng school supplies, uniporme, at bag para sa mahigit 120,000 mag-aaral sa mga pampublikong paaralan at day care centers. Kasama rin dito ang mga tulong medikal tulad ng GL sa gamot, dialysis, at hospital bills, na nakatulong sa libu-libong Calambeño.

Bukod dito, ipinatupad ni Mayor Rizal ang mga proyektong pang-imprastruktura tulad ng mga bagong eskuwelahan, barangay halls, covered courts, at drainage canals. Pinagtuunan din ng pansin ang pagpapailaw sa mga lugar na matagal nang walang kuryente, at asphalting ng mga daan.

Nagkaloob din ang lokal na pamahalaan ng P1,000 na birthday gift sa mga senior citizen, PWD, at solo parents—isang malaking pagtaas mula sa dating P500 para sa senior citizens lamang.

Patuloy rin ang pagbibigay ng puhunan sa libu-libong Calambeño sa ilalim ng programang “Pangkabuhayan ni Rizal”, at ang pagbibigay ng mga scholarship sa mga kabataang nangangarap makatapos ng kolehiyo.

Kabilang sa mga bagong proyekto ang itinatayong Calamba Dialysis at Laboratory and Diagnostic Center, na layuning tugunan ang mga pangangailangang medikal ng bawat mamamayan.

Ang mga programang ito ay patunay na ang pamahalaan ni Mayor Ross Rizal ay aktibong nagtatrabaho para sa kapakanan ng bawat Calambeño. Sa harap ng mga kritisismo, hinahayaan na lamang ni Mayor Rizal na ang mga proyekto at serbisyong naihatid ng kanyang administrasyon ang magsalita.
