Calamba City, October 3, 2024 – In a heartfelt message, Mayor Ross Rizal extended his warmest greetings and deepest gratitude to the teachers and staff of DepEd Calamba as part of the city’s celebration of National Teachers’ Month.

In his address, Mayor Rizal acknowledged the unwavering dedication and sacrifices of Calamba’s educators, stating, “Nais kong ipahayag ang aking taos-pusong pasasalamat sa ating mga guro ng DepEd Calamba, sa inyong walang sawang dedikasyon at sakripisyo para sa ikabubuti ng ating mga mag-aaral!”

Mayor Rizal emphasized his commitment to support both teachers and students in their journey toward a brighter future through education. He reiterated his administration’s push for development under his leadership and vision for Calamba, embodied in the slogan “CalamBAGO” – signifying progress and innovation for the city.

“Bilang inyong lingkod na Punong Lungsod, nais kong ipahayag ang aking buong suporta at dedikasyon upang matulungan kayo at ang ating mga mag-aaral na magkaroon ng mas magandang kinabukasan sa pamamagitan ng edukasyon,” Mayor Rizal said, reaffirming his administration’s focus on education as a pillar of the city’s growth.

With a forward-looking vision, Mayor Rizal ended his message by encouraging everyone to keep moving forward in unity, highlighting that the success of every teacher and student is the success of the entire city.

“Ganito po ang CalamBAGO, sulong lamang po tayo, forward lang, at kasama po ang bawat guro sa pag-unlad ng mga Calambeño!” he added, inspiring both educators and residents to continue striving for excellence.

As Calamba continues to thrive under his leadership, Mayor Rizal remains committed to fostering an education system that empowers both teachers and students, ensuring that every Calambeño reaps the benefits of the city’s progress.
