Nasabat ng PDEA SPECIAL ENFORCEMENT SERVICE, Intelligence and Investigation Division at NAIA Inter Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group ang mahigit kumulang 16.34 kilo ng pinaghihinalaang shabu na nagkakahalaga ng 111.1 milyong piso.

Ayon sa team leader ng drug operation na si IA 1 Van Dyke N. Fidelson, Assistant Chief ng Intelligence and Investigation Division PDEA Special Enforcement Service, Septyembre 26, 2024 ng makatanggap ang kanilang opisina ng tip off na may paparating na parcel na may lamang droga.

Agad daw nila itong vinefiry sa isang warehouse ng service logistics center gamit ang tracking number at nalaman na andun nga ito.

Nalaman nila na hinold pa ito ng Bureau of Customs dahil hindi tugma ang naka deklarang presyo sa nakadeklarang laman ng kargo na handmade cultural craft paintings. Hinihingian daw nila ng dagdag na resibo ang consignee o naka lagay na claimant ngunit hindi ito makontak sa naka lagay na numero.

Dagdag ng PDEA sa warehouse nagkaroon ng indication ang kanilang K9 dog at nagpositive din ito sa droga gamit ang Raman Regaku handheld device.

Dahil dito kumuha ang PDEA ng sample sa wax na nasa ilalim ng mismong painting at dinala sa laboratoryo nila at nagpositibo nga itong shabu sa resulta.

Ang kargo ay mula sa Mexico base sa nakasulat na pangalan at address papunta naman sa Bulacan.

Dagdag ni Fidelson lubhang nakakabahala ang bagong uri ng concealment method dahil hindi ito halos ma detect ng detecting machines dahil nagmukha talaga parang wax ang shabu na nakahalo dito.

Sa ngayon ay tinurn over na ng nasabing BOC ang kargo sa PDEA.
