QUEZON-DEAD on the spot ang isang lalaki matapos pagbabarilin sa kanyang bahay ng hindi nakilalang suspek naganap ang krimen sa may Purok Masayahin, Brgy Ibabang Talim lunsod ng Lucena linggo ng gabi (Oct.6).
Kinilala ng Lucena PNP ang biktima na si Roderick Rodriguez Hicayo, 47 anyos isang installer ng elevator at residente ng nasabing lugar.
Base sa report ng pulisya dakong alas 6:40 ng gabi ng puntahan ng apat na riding in tanden criminals ang biktima sa kanyang bahay,isa umano sa mga suspek ang bumaril sa biktima habang ang mga kasama nito ang nagsilbing lookout sa lugar.
Agad na binawian ng buhay si Hicayo sa tinamong tama ng mga bala ng baril sa ibat ibang bahagi ng katawan.
Mabilis na tumakas ang apat na suspek matapos na maisagawa ang krimen sakay ng dalawang motorsiklo sa direksyon ng patungong bayan ng Sariaya.
Sa report ng pulis hindi pa alam ang motibo ng pamamaril at hindi rin nakilala ang mga kriminal.
Sa datos ng pulisya ito na ang ikalawang insidente ng pagpatay sa Lucena City sa loob ng halos tatlong buwan simula ng umupong hepe ng pulisya si PLTCOL Dennis De Guzman una ang pagpatay sa isang negosyante noong August 30, 2024 sa may Brgy. Dalihican Lucena City na hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay hindi pa rin nahuhuli ang suspek.
