Mayor Roseller “Ross” Rizal Officially Files Certificate of Candidacy for Calamba City Mayor: “Tuloy-Tuloy na Pagbabago”

Calamba City, Laguna – October 7, 2024 – Mayor Roseller “Ross” Rizal has officially filed his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for re-election as Mayor of Calamba City. In a statement that resonates with his administration’s commitment to progress, Rizal called on his fellow Calambeños to continue the journey of “Tuloy-Tuloy na Pagbabago” (Continuous Change) that began three years ago.

“Halos tatlong taon na ang nakalipas nang ipanalo natin ang boses ng mamamayang Calambeño,” Mayor Rizal said as he reflected on his first term in office. “Ang imposible noon, sama-sama nating ginawang posible.”

Rizal emphasized that his administration has been focused on delivering transparent leadership, one that puts the people first. He cited the significant improvements under his tenure and the strong push for positive change that the citizens of Calamba City have witnessed.

“Napagtagumpayan natin ang matagal nang sigaw ng karamihan. Lideratong Tapat Magsilbi, Bagong Pamahalaang Tao ang unang iniintindi,” he noted.

As he looks ahead to the 2025 elections, Mayor Rizal made it clear that his focus is on continuing the progress made in his first term, while drawing lessons from the past.

“Tama nang ginawa nating inspirasyon ang noon upang mamulat at makarating tayo sa ngayon. Sa 2025, baunin natin ang tagumpay ng ngayon,” he added, calling on the community to rally together for sustained progress.

Mayor Ross Rizal, along with Vice Mayor Totie Lazaro, Congresswoman Cha Hernandez, and their political party CalambaGO!, aim to continue their advocacy for true progress in Calamba City, bringing more programs and reforms that will further uplift the city’s citizens.

The call for unity and cooperation was clear as Mayor Rizal closed his message with a powerful statement: “Calambeños, magsama-sama tayo sa progreso at tunay na pagbabago.”

With his official candidacy now filed, the road to 2025 looks promising as Mayor Rizal sets his sights on building a brighter, more progressive future for Calamba City.
