In a political development for Laguna, Congresswoman Ruth Mariano Hernandez has filed her candidacy for governor, vowing to uphold and continue the “Serbisyong Tama” legacy of her husband, outgoing Governor Ramil Hernandez. This comes as Governor Hernandez, concluding his third and final term, announced his bid to represent the second district of Laguna in Congress.

Congresswoman Ruth Hernandez expressed her dedication to maintaining the high standards of governance initiated by her husband. “Ipagpapatuloy ko ang serbisyong tama na sinimulan ni Governor Ramil. Ang serbisyong ito ay hindi lamang para sa kasalukuyan, kundi para sa kinabukasan ng bawat Lagunense,” she affirmed, committing to carry on their joint mission of improving the lives of the people of Laguna.

Gov. Ramil Hernandez, in his own statement, expressed gratitude to the people of Laguna for their continuous support over his nine years in office. While preparing for his run as Congressman, he assured the public that his dedication to service remains steadfast. “Bagamat ito ay hudyat na ng pulitika, patuloy pa rin ang aming pagtatrabaho ng may buong sipag at malasakit,” he said.

Both Ruth and Ramil Hernandez emphasized that their “Serbisyong Tama” brand of governance—centered on integrity, transparency, and public welfare—will continue to guide their leadership. As Laguna enters a new chapter, the couple remains committed to furthering the progress and development of the province.
