PCOL Ruben Lacuesta Takes Over as Quezon Provincial Police Director in Turnover Ceremony

The Quezon Police Provincial Office held a Turnover Office Ceremony yesterday, October 14, 2024. Incoming Provincial Director PCOL Ruben B. Lacuesta, a member of the Lateral Entry Class of 2000, took over the leadership from Outgoing PD PCOL Ledon D. Monte, who hails from PNPA Class 1998. Col. Monte served as the Provincial Director for nearly two years and 44 days, contributing significantly to the peace and order efforts in the province.

The ceremony was attended by various officials, including Quezon Governor Dra. Angelita “Helen” Tan, who expressed her gratitude to Col. Monte for his dedication and efforts in maintaining peace and combating illegal drugs in the province during his term. Governor Tan acknowledged Monte’s leadership in ensuring the effective implementation of policies aimed at improving safety and security across Quezon.

PCOL Lacuesta, previously the Chief of Police at Caloocan Police Station, is expected to continue the initiatives set by his predecessor while bringing new strategies to further strengthen the police force in Quezon.
