October 28, 2024 โ Calamba City, Laguna — In the aftermath of Typhoon Kristine, Hon. Congresswoman Cha Hernandez extended support to the residents of Barangay Masili, Calamba City, who were among those affected by the recent calamity. In coordination with the Sangguniangย Barangay headed by its Chairman Hon. Rohnell Malabanan, the relief operations were held to bring essential aid and support to families impacted by the storm.
Said relief operation provided immediate assistance to 28 families with a total of 161 individuals (evacuees) severely impacted by the typhoon.
Congresswoman Hernandez emphasized her commitment to standing by the people of Calamba during challenging times, acknowledging the importance of community solidarity and swift response in disaster situations.
Brgy. Chairman Malabanan expressed gratitude for the Congresswoman’s efforts, noting the vital role of collaboration between local government leaders in addressing the needs of their constituents in times of crisis.
The relief packs included essential food items and other necessities aimed at helping residents recover and rebuild in the wake of the storm. Congresswoman Hernandez highlighted her commitment to supporting her constituents in times of need, emphasizing the importance of quick response and coordinated efforts during crises.
