Sta. Teresita, Cagayan—On November 28, 2024, personnel from 112SAC, 11th Special Action Battalion of PNP SAF provided tactical support to the elements of 2nd Cagayan PMFC as the lead unit, alongside other law enforcement units and successfully recovered CTG armed cache in Sitio Bigoc, Brgy. Alucao, Sta. Teresita, Cagayan.
The recovered items include two rounds 40mm HE grenade; two blasting caps; 22 rounds caliber .30 ball; ten meters of stranded wire black/blue #24; two 9 volts batteries (Eveready); two 12 volts motorcycle batteries; one PVC pipe; and two-gallon plastic containers containing approximately 2 kgs of suspected ammonium nitrate.
The recovered items are now under the custody of Sta. Teresita MPS for documentation and proper disposition.
The recovery of this significant CTG armed cache represents a major blow to the operations of the PNP SAF and other law enforcement units’ untiring commitment to maintaining peace and order.
