High-Value Drug Personalities Nabbed in Cavite Buy-Bust Operation

Cavite — In a decisive anti-drug operation, joint forces from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office IV-A Special Enforcement Unit Team 1 and PDEA Cavite Provincial Office arrested two high-value drug personalities on Monday, December 9, 2024. The buy-bust operation took place at 12:45 PM in Barangay Hugo Perez, Trece Martires, Cavite.

Authorities identified the suspects as two male individuals involved in the illicit drug trade, while a female accomplice managed to evade arrest and remains at large.

During the operation, law enforcement officers confiscated approximately 100 grams of suspected shabu, with an estimated street value of ₱680,000, along with the buy-bust money used in the transaction.

The arrested suspects will face charges for violating Republic Act No. 9165, also known as The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Efforts are ongoing to locate and apprehend the at-large female suspect.

The PDEA emphasized its continued commitment to combating illegal drugs, urging the public to report suspicious activities to aid in the ongoing campaign against narcotics.
