MPT South, the concessionaire of Manila-Cavite Expressway (CAVITEX) and Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX), has reached a major safety milestone—5 million safe man-hours without a lost-time injury (LTI). This achievement follows the company’s recent recognition with triple ISO certification, covering ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety).

The milestone underscores MPT South’s commitment to workplace safety, quality, and sustainability. A key aspect of its safety program is employee education, transforming them into road safety advocates. Recently, MPT South employees participated in the Drayberks Road Safety session in collaboration with Cavite State University, where they learned essential road safety practices, defensive driving techniques, and expressway safety measures. The initiative extends beyond employees, engaging motorists, community partners, and government stakeholders in promoting safer roads for all.
