Calamba City, Laguna – After the signing of the peace covenant for the 2025 midterm national and local elections, candidates stepped out of the Jose Rizal Coliseum to the resounding cheers of their supporters. The event marked a significant moment in ensuring a peaceful and fair election in the city.

To symbolize unity and peace, election officers, the Chief of Police, and other representatives released white doves, a gesture of hope for an orderly electoral process.

A notable moment unfolded as Mayor Ross Rizal shook hands with his rival, Former Mayor Timmy Chipeco, in a display of sportsmanship and respect.

Supporters from both political camps, “Calambago” and “Calambalik,” raised their hands in solidarity, affirming their commitment to a peaceful yet determined campaign. With the election season heating up, all eyes are on Calamba as it moves toward a decisive and orderly 2025 election.
