QUEZON—PATAY ang isang 34 anyos na lalaki matapos itong barilin ng kanilang Barangay Chairman sa may Purok 7, Brgy. Gibanga bayan ng Sariaya nitong Lunes ng gabi (May 19, 2025).
Kinilala ang biktimang nasawi na si Alber Caraig Malarasta residente ng Purok 5 barangay na nabanggit nakilala naman ang suspek na si aktibong Barangay Gibanga Chairman Crisanto.
Base sa report ng Sariaya PNP dakong alas 11:55 ng gabi tumawag at humingi ng responde si kapitan Crisanto sa kanyang mga barangay tanod na di umano ay may pumasok na hindi kilalang tao sa kanyang garahe.
Agad namang nagpunta at nagresponde ang hepe ng tanod na si Andeson Laigo Mabuhay kasama ang tanod na si Elpidio Malarasta at ang kanyang anak na biktima.
Pagpasok sa gate ng bakuran ng kapitan ng mga nagrespondeng barangay tanod ay napahiwalay umano ang biktima sa kanyang ama at hepe ng tanod kung kaya ng makita ito ni Chairman Crisanto ay napagkamalan na ito ang pumasok sa kanyang garahe.
Agad nitong binaril ng dalawang beses si Malarasta na nagtamo ng dalawang tama ng bala ng baril sa kaliwang dibdib mabilis namang dinala ng ama ang duguang anak sa Ace Medical Center subalit hindi na ito umabot ng buhay at idineklarang dead on arrival na ito ng doktor.
Dinakip naman ng Sariaya PNP ang Chairman na suspek at narekober dito ang baril na ginamit sa pamamaril sa biktima.
