North Caloocan – Isang lalaki ang naaresto ng mga operatiba ng Tactical Motorcycle Riders Unit (TMRU) ng DMFB-NPD sa ikinasang motorcycle patrol operation katuwang ang Tala Police Substation 14 ng Caloocan City Police Station (CCPS), Martes ng madaling araw, Mayo 27, 2025, bandang 2:30 AM sa Ascoville, Barangay 185, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, nagsasagawa ng regular na motorcycle patrol ang mga tauhan ng TMRU-DMFB NPD sa pangunguna ni PMAJ Rolando Balistoy, hepe ng DFMB-NPD, katuwang ang mga tauhan ng Tala Police Substation 14 sa pamumuno ni PLT Adnan Ali.

Habang nagpapatrolya, napansin ng mga pulis ang isang lalaki na lumalabag sa city ordinance dahil sa kawalan ng suot na pang-itaas. Nilapitan siya ng mga operatiba at pinakiusapang magsuot ng damit. Habang kinakausap, aksidenteng nahulog mula sa kaniyang posisyon ang isang plastic sachet na may lamang puting butil na hinihinalang shabu, na naging sanhi ng kanyang agarang pagkaaresto. Kinilala ang suspek na si Amen Rothum.

Nakumpiska mula sa suspek ang Isang (1) sachet ng hinihinalang shabu na may bigat na 0.7 gramo at tinatayang street value na Php 4,760.00.

Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa Section 11 ng Republic Act 9165 o ang Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. Mariin namang itinanggi ng suspek na siya ay sangkot sa pagbebenta ng ilegal na droga.

Sa ngayon, nasa kustodiya na ng Tala Police Substation 14 ang suspek para sa karagdagang imbestigasyon at dokumentasyon.
