Calamba City, Laguna — In a strong show of support for responsible family planning and reproductive health, Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal led the SODEX Program: Serbisyong Para sa Responsableng Pamilya! held today at the Dr. Jose Rizal Coliseum.

The event, in partnership with DKT Philippines, brought essential services and information closer to Calambeños through the Service Outreach Distribution Extension (SODEX) Program. With a focus on empowering families through accessible and accurate family planning education, the program aimed to strengthen the foundations of the community.

“Calamba City extends its deepest gratitude to DKT Philippines for bringing the SODEX Program to our people,” Mayor Rizal stated. “Through this initiative, many of our residents gained the knowledge and access they need to make informed choices for their families—paving the way to a more stable and prosperous future for every household.”

He emphasized that strong families are the cornerstone of a thriving city. “Here in Calamba, every service is delivered with heart, and every family matters,” the mayor added.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from local health workers, barangay representatives, and families eager to learn more about reproductive wellness and responsible parenthood.
