Camp BGen Vicente P. Lim, Calamba City, Laguna — The Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) has officially renewed the Drug-Free Workplace status of the Police Regional Office CALABARZON (PRO 4A) during the kickoff ceremony of the 30th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month held on July 1, 2025.

DDB Chairperson Secretary Oscar F. Valenzuela, who also served as Guest of Honor and Speaker, led the declaration and praised the regional office for its consistent internal campaign against illegal drugs.

“This recognition is a testament to their firm commitment to maintaining discipline, cleanliness, and honesty within the organization,” Secretary Valenzuela stated.

The event was attended by members of the PRO 4A Command Group, Regional Staff, representatives from the National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) 4A, and officials from the Dangerous Drugs Board, who witnessed the formal announcement.

The recognition is in accordance with DDB Regulation No. 13, Series of 2018, titled “Establishing and Institutionalization of Drug-Free Workplace in All Government Offices…” and reinforced by PRO 4A Drug-Free Workplace Committee Resolution No. 2025-01, recommending the renewal of the designation.

This reaffirmation follows the initial declaration made on April 30, 2024, under the leadership of DDB Undersecretary Earl A. Saavedra, and attended by provincial police directors and PDEA 4A representatives led by Ms. Mary Ann M. Lorenzo.

PRO CALABARZON’s renewed Drug-Free Workplace status reflects the agency’s steadfast implementation of its Internal Cleansing Program and ongoing pursuit of high standards in police integrity—crucial steps toward a safer, more disciplined, and well-governed Bagong Pilipinas.
