Mayor Ross Rizal Leads Relocation Aid Distribution for Rizal Ville Families Affected by Railway Project

Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal personally visited the residents of Building 6 at the Rizal Ville Resettlement Site in Barangay Banlic to distribute Relocation Assistance as part of the ongoing North-South Commuter Railway Extension Project.

The initiative, dubbed “Tuloy ang Asenso”, aims to ensure that families affected by infrastructure developments are not left behind amid the city’s rapid progress. The assistance was specifically given to residents who will be displaced due to the railway expansion, a major transportation project connecting the southern provinces to Metro Manila.

“In every step of progress, we make sure that no one is left behind. Together, we move forward. Together, we rise,” Mayor Rizal stated during the distribution.

This effort reflects the local government’s commitment to inclusive development, where growth goes hand in hand with social responsibility. Mayor Rizal reaffirmed that the city will continue to support affected families through various programs to ease their transition and ensure their welfare.

The distribution activity also reinforces the administration’s proactive approach in working closely with national infrastructure projects while maintaining compassion and care for the people of Calamba.
