QUEZON — Boluntaryong sumuko sa mga awtoridad ang pangunahing suspek sa pagpatay sa isang negosyanteng taga-Lipa City, na natagpuang patay sa loob ng isang inabandonang sasakyan sa Barangay Loob, San Antonio, Quezon nitong Lunes ng umaga.

Kinilala ng pulisya ang suspek sa alyas na Larry, dating tauhan ng biktimang si Nelson Calalo, 36-anyos, may-ari ng isang auto repair shop sa Lipa City.

Ayon kay Police Major Kayvin Ballogan, hepe ng San Antonio Municipal Police Station, kusang loob na nagtungo si Larry sa istasyon at inamin ang krimen ilang oras matapos matagpuan ang bangkay ni Calalo.

Batay sa salaysay ng suspek, may tatlo pa siyang kasabwat sa krimen.

Inihayag din niya na nagkita sila ng biktima sa Barangay Calantas, Rosario, Batangas, kung saan umano isinagawa ang pamamaril.

Ayon pa kay PMAJ Ballogan, posibleng may matagal nang alitan ang dalawa, at sinamantala ng suspek ang pagkakataon upang holdapin ang biktima, na may dala umanong P600,000.

Huling nakausap ni Calalo ang kanyang asawa noong Lunes ng tanghali, kung saan sinabi nitong makikipagkita siya sa dating empleyado upang tumingin ng sasakyang ibinebenta.

Pagkatapos ng krimen, minaneho umano ni Larry ang van ng biktima papunta sa San Antonio, Quezon, at iniwan ito sa gilid ng highway kasama ang bangkay.
Natagpuan ng mga awtoridad ang biktima sa likurang bahagi ng kanyang puting van (plate number DCP 1883) na may tama ng bala sa ulo.

Patuloy pa rin ang imbestigasyon ng San Antonio at Rosario Police upang matukoy ang pagkakakilanlan at kinaroroonan ng iba pang sangkot. Tumangging magbigay ng pahayag ang pamilya ng biktima at ang sumukong suspek.
