Lalaki, Arestado sa Caloocan dahil sa Paglabag sa Anti-Carnapping Act at Illegal Possession of Firearms

Caloocan City – Naaresto ng mga operatiba ng PNP-Highway Patrol Group (HPG) Bulacan ang isang lalaki na may kasong paglabag sa Anti-Carnapping Act of 2016 (RA 10883) sa bisa ng warrant of arrest, sa isinagawang operasyon noong Agosto 3, 2025, Linggo, bandang alas-11:30 ng gabi sa Phase 1, Package 3, Blk. 39, Barangay 176-A, Bagong Silang, Caloocan City.

Ayon sa ulat, nagsagawa ng manhunt operation ang PNP HPG Bulacan laban sa suspek na kinilalang si Jerome Cruz, alyas “Jerome,” batay sa warrant of arrest na inilabas ng RTC Branch 102, Malolos, Bulacan, na nilagdaan ni Presiding Judge Carl L. Badillo. Pinangunahan ang operasyon ni PMaj. Renz Principe, hepe ng PNP HPG Malolos, kasama ang Barangay 176-A BPSO sa pangunguna ni Ex-O Rolly Cebu.

Habang isinasagawa ang pag-serve ng warrant, napansin ng mga operatiba na may nakasukbit na isang caliber .22 firearm sa tagiliran ng suspek, dahilan upang masampahan din siya ng kasong paglabag sa Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (RA 10591).

Matapos basahan ng karapatan, tumanggi ang suspek na magbigay ng pahayag. Sa kasalukuyan, nasa kustodiya na siya ng PNP HPG Bulacan para sa karagdagang proseso at dokumentasyon.
