Mayor Ross Rizal Extends Continuous Support to Calamba’s Persons with Disabilities Through Financial Assistance Program

Calamba City, Laguna — Upholding his vision of inclusive governance and compassion-driven leadership, Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal continues to deliver meaningful support to the city’s persons with disabilities (PWDs) through the Financial Assistance Distribution Program, conducted under the Mayor’s Office Public Action Center (MOPAC) at Calamba City Hall.

This initiative, spearheaded by Mayor Ross Rizal in collaboration with the Persons with Disability Affairs Office (PDAO) headed by Mr. Luisito Apacionado, aims to provide direct financial aid to PWDs as part of the city government’s commitment to social welfare and empowerment.

Mayor Rizal emphasized that the program reflects the administration’s dedication to ensuring that every Calambeño—especially those with special needs—receives adequate support and opportunities to improve their quality of life.

“No one should be left behind. Our persons with disabilities are integral members of our community, and it is our duty to uplift and empower them,” Mayor Rizal stated.

Through the continuous rollout of this initiative, the City Government of Calamba reaffirms its mission to build a compassionate, inclusive, and people-centered city—where care and progress go hand in hand.

The MOPAC and PDAO vowed to sustain and expand the program, ensuring that more PWDs benefit from the local government’s ongoing social assistance efforts.
