During a stirring ceremony titled “Pagpupugay sa Matatag na Tagapagtanggol ng Lungsod!”, Calamba City Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal paid tribute to the city’s Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel for their unwavering commitment, bravery, and exceptional performance in upholding peace and security throughout Calamba.

The ceremony paid special tribute to the PNP Calamba, led by PLtCol. Dennis C. De Guzman, City Chief of Police, together with the NAPOLCOM Awardees, who were commended for their series of successful operations — including Oplan Galugad — that showcased their courage, discipline, and deep commitment to public safety.

“This recognition is a testament to your bravery, discipline, and genuine concern for the peace and progress of our beloved city,” said Mayor Ross Rizal. “Thank you for your tireless service and unwavering dedication to building a safer and more progressive Calamba.”

Under the leadership of PLtCol. De Guzman, the PNP Calamba has consistently demonstrated excellence in law enforcement through proactive operations and community engagement efforts that have strengthened public trust and safety across the city.

Through this event, the City Government of Calamba reaffirmed its steadfast support for the men and women in uniform — the steadfast defenders whose courage and dedication continue to safeguard every Calambeño.
