House Deputy Minority Leader and Mamamayang Liberal (ML) Partylist Representative Leila M. de Lima has called on former Representative Zaldy Co to return to the Philippines and face the allegations surrounding the alleged anomalous infrastructure projects linked to him. Her statement comes following the release of Part 2 of Co’s exposé video series dated November 15, 2025.

Rep. De Lima dismissed Co’s claim that he never received kickbacks from the questioned infra projects, calling the denial “hard to believe.” She stressed that if Co is truly committed to revealing everything, he must subject himself to formal investigations and answer pressing questions under oath.

“Even if his videos reach multiple parts, none of his statements or supposed evidence can be used in court unless he personally affirms them before the proper forum,” she emphasized.

De Lima underscored that the Filipino people deserve full transparency, solid evidence, and credible accountability. She warned against any attempts at evasion, cover-ups, or hidden motives.

“What the public wants is simple: the entire truth, strong evidence for strong cases, no washing of hands, and no one being shielded,” she said.

Above all, De Lima emphasized the urgency of holding all involved accountable and ensuring that the stolen funds are recovered.

“The people expect swift justice and for everyone responsible to be jailed as soon as possible, while returning every peso taken from the nation’s coffers,” she concluded.
