Calamba City, Laguna — More than 7,000 Tricycle Operators and Drivers Association (TODA) members benefited from the city government’s “Tulong Gulong” program on the second day of its distribution, led by Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal.

The initiative aims to provide direct assistance to hardworking tricycle drivers who play a vital role in the city’s daily transportation and local economy. Mayor Rizal emphasized that the program is a recognition of their dedication and an effort to ease their day-to-day challenges.

“We continue to extend help and support to our hardworking drivers who serve our constituents every day. This is our way of recognizing their perseverance and their important role in our city,” Mayor Rizal said.


Beneficiaries came from numerous barangays across Calamba City, including Banlic, Mapagong, Paciano Rizal, Parian, San Cristobal, Barandal, Batino, Bubuyan, Bunggo, Burol, Canlubang, Hornalan, Kay-Anlog, Laguerta, Lawa, Majada, Mayapa, Palo-Alto, Prinza, Punta, Sirang-Lupa, Bañadero, Barangays 1–7, Lecheria, Lingga, Looc, Palingon, Sampiruhan, San Jose, San Juan, and Uwisan.

Mayor Rizal reiterated that the program reflects the city government’s commitment to responsible governance and inclusive public service.

“Taxes from the people are returned to the people through various programs, projects, and services that are truly beneficial,” he added.


The “Tulong Gulong” program is part of the local government’s continuing efforts to support transport workers and strengthen community welfare through responsive and people-centered initiatives.
