CALAMBA CITY, LAGUNA — A new chapter of hope and opportunity has begun for the youth of Barangay Kay Anlog as Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal led the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed Barangay Kay Anlog National High School.


The event signified a major milestone for the community, as the barangay now officially has its own national high school for the first time—bringing quality education closer to students and families in the area.


Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal highlighted the importance of the project as part of the city government’s continuing commitment to improving public services, especially in education.
“Sunod-sunod ang blessing at inauguration ng mga proyektong handog natin para sa Brgy. Kay Anlog, at sinimulan natin ito sa makasaysayang Blessing and Inauguration ng bagong tayong National High School ng Barangay Kay Anlog,” the mayor said.


The newly inaugurated school is only the beginning of a larger development plan, with further construction phases already set to follow.


“Phase 1 pa lamang po ito, ngunit tuloy-tuloy na ang pagsasakatuparan ng Phase 2 hanggang sa ganap na matapos ang paaralan. Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon, nagkaroon na ng sariling National High School ang Brgy. Kay Anlog—isang malaking hakbang upang mas mailapit ang dekalidad na edukasyon sa ating mga kabataan,” Mayor Roseller “Ross” H. Rizal added.


Residents and local officials expressed gratitude for the project, noting that it will ease the burden of travel for students who previously had to attend schools farther from home.


The inauguration reflects the city’s vision of empowering the next generation through accessible education and stronger community development.


“Patuloy po tayong magtutulungan upang mas mapalawak ang oportunidad at mas mapaganda ang kinabukasan ng bawat pamilyang Calambeño,” the mayor emphasized.


With the opening of Barangay Kay Anlog National High School, Calamba City takes another significant step toward building a brighter future for its youth—anchored in education, progress, and inclusive growth.
