SILANG, Cavite – February 10, 2026 — The National Police College (NPC) celebrated its 32nd Founding Anniversary on February 10, 2026 highlighting more than three decades of advancing quality education, strong leadership, and excellence in public safety service.


Carrying the theme “NPC at 32 Years of Service: Quality Education, Resilient Leadership,” the anniversary underscored the institution’s continuing commitment to shaping competent and principled leaders in the fields of national security, disaster management, and law enforcement.
Serving as Guest of Honor and Speaker was PLTGEN Ricardo F. De Leon (Ret.), DPPSG, PhD, Director of the National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA). He was joined by PBGEN Ferdinando G. Sevilla (Ret.), DPPSG, President of the Philippine Public Safety College (PPSC), and PBGEN Vert T. Chavez (Ret.), MPSA, Officer-in-Charge of NPC.


During the celebration, NPC highlighted key institutional reforms and innovations aimed at strengthening public safety education. These include the implementation of a Revised Curriculum, enhanced cybersecurity and Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) training programs, expansion of graduate degree offerings, reinforcement of its Academic Centers, and nationwide campus initiatives aligned with the National Security and Safety Framework.


Officials emphasized that the college remains focused on producing a critical mass of public safety leaders and critical thinkers equipped to address emerging challenges in governance, security, disaster response, and digital threats. The institution also reaffirmed its commitment to upholding values of integrity, professionalism, and respect for human rights.


The program likewise recognized the vital contributions of NPC leadership, faculty, personnel, and partner agencies, including the Philippine National Police, Bureau of Fire Protection, Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, Philippine Coast Guard, and other key stakeholders.


The milestone celebration marked 32 years of service, learning, and leadership, reaffirming NPC’s role as a cornerstone institution in strengthening the country’s public safety sector.
