Sa ulat ni Batangas Police Provincial Office Provincial Director PCOL PEDRO D SOLIBA kay Police Regional Office CALABARZON Regional Director PBGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ JR, arestado ang isang lalaki sa isinagawang buy-bust operation ng mga tauhan ng City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) ng Lipa City Police Station nito lamang Sabado, December 17, 2022.
Kinilala ni PLTCOL ARIEL B AZURIN, Chief of Police, ang suspek na si Randy Garcia y Reyes a.k.a. “Tokis”, 44 taong gulang, may asawa, walang trabaho, at residente ng nasabing bayan. Nasamsam mula sa suspek ang dalawang (2) pirasong pinaghihinalaang shabu na aabot sa 1.50 gramo na nagkakahalaga ng Php 10,350.00 at isang caliber 45 pistol mga bala, magazine, 400 pesos at perang ginamit sa transaksyon.
Nahaharap ang suspek sa kasong paglabag sa R.A. 9165 o Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 at RA 10591 o Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act. Si Garcia ay kabilang sa drug watch list at kasalukuyang nakakulong sa custodial facility ng Lipa City Police Station.
