Kulungan ang bagsak ng isang lalaki matapos nitong patayin ang kinakasama sa bayan ng Taal, Batangas noong Agosto 17, 2023.
Sa report ni Batangas Police Provincial Office Provincial Director Police Colonel Samson B Belmonte kay Police Regional Office CALABARZON Regional Director Police Brigadier General Carlito M Gaces., ang akusado ay kinilalang si Jayson Agas Vergara, 44 taong gulang, lalaki, construction worker, at residente ng nasabing lugar.
Bandang 10:45 PM ng August 17, 2023 ay nakatanggap ng tawag ang himpilan ng Taal Municipal Police Station mula sa mga barangay opisyales ng Brgy. Zone 8 ng nasabing bayan hinggil sa isang anak na inihihingi ng tulong ang kanyang ina. Agad na rumesponde ang mga pulisya sa nasabing lugar at narinig ang suspek na sinisigawan ang kanyang anak. Nakita ng mga pulis ang biktima sa sahig na walang malay at may tinamong sugat sa ulo. Agad na inaresto ang suspek at isinugod sa ospital ang biktima ngunit idineklarang dead on arrival.
Kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng Taal MPS ang suspek para sa kaukulang disposisyon.
“Mariin po naming kinokondena ang karahasan lalo na sa pamilya. Makakaasa po kayo na agad naming aaksyunan ang anumang reklamo hinggil dito.”-PCOL BELMONTE.
