Huli ang isang lalaking nanaga sa Barangay San Joaquin, Santo Tomas City, Batangas bandang 9:00 ng gabi noong ika-27 ng Setyembre 2023.
Kinilala ni Batangas Police Provincial Office Provincial Director, Police Colonel Samson B Belmonte ang suspek bilang si alyas “Rolan”, 32 taong gulang, construction worker, tubong Masbate at kasalukuyang naninirahan sa Santo Tomas City, Batangas.
Ayon sa imbestigasyon, tinaga ni alias “Rolan” ang biktimang si Mark Lester Onrada y Lolong, 22 taong gulang, construction worker, at kasalukuyang nakatira sa Santo Tomas City, Batangas gamit ang isang bolo. Ito’y matapos na mauwi ang sana’y masayang inuman ng biktima at ni “Rolan”sa isang pagtatalo. Nagtamo ng pinsala sa kaliwang braso ang biktima sa naturang pananaga.
Isinugod sa Batangas Medical Center ang biktimang si Onrada habang arestado ng Santo Tomas City Police Station si “Rolan”. “Isa pong paalala sa ating mga minamahal na kababayan na palagiang pairalin ang pagkamahinahon. Ang isang maling desisyon sa loob ng isang segundo ay maaaring magdulot ng patung-patong na asunto. Muli rin naming ipinapaabot sa lahat na ang kapulisan ng Batangas PPO ay palaging handang umalalay, tumulong at magresponde sa lahat ng pagkakataon para mapanatili ang kaayusan at kapayapaan ng ating mahal na lalawigan.”– PCOL BELMONTE
