Laguna Governor Sol Aragones Suspends Face-to-Face Classes Provincewide from October 14 to 31 as Earthquake Precaution

Laguna, Philippines — In line with the directive of Governor Sol Aragones, all face-to-face classes in Laguna are suspended from October 14 to 31, 2025, as part of the provincial government’s preventive safety measures following the recent series of earthquakes across the country.

The temporary suspension covers all levels of public and private schools throughout the province. The move aims to ensure the safety and preparedness of students, teachers, and the community amid possible aftershocks and related hazards.

During this period, schools are instructed to implement the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) to sustain learning continuity. This includes modular, online, and take-home learning activities, allowing students to continue their education even without in-person classes.

Governor Aragones emphasized that the safety of Laguneños remains the top priority, and urged the public to stay alert and cooperative as precautionary measures are being implemented across Laguna.
