Calamba Police Serve Warrant vs. HR Specialist Risha Mae Estandarte for Qualified Theft

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna — Operatives of the Calamba City Police Station (CCPS) successfully served a warrant of arrest against Risha Mae Pagasian Estandarte, 26, an HR specialist, in connection with a qualified theft case, authorities reported.

The warrant was served at around 4:29 p.m. on January 20, 2026, at the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) 4A, Barangay Turbina, Calamba City, Laguna.
Estandarte, a resident of B20 L10 Valle Dulce Phase 1, Barangay Bubuyan, Calamba City, was arrested by the Tracker Team of Calamba CCPS by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest issued on January 12, 2026, by Hon. Maria Cecilia Ty Pantua, Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court, Fourth Judicial Region, Branch 104, Calamba City.
The warrant was issued for the crime of Qualified Theft under Article 310 in relation to Article 308 of the Revised Penal Code, specifically the second of ten counts filed against the accused, under Criminal Case No. 47328-2025-C. The court recommended a bail of ₱24,000.00 for her temporary liberty.

Police said the service of the warrant was properly documented using an alternative recording device, in line with operational and legal procedures.

Following her arrest, Estandarte was informed of her constitutional rights and the Anti-Torture Warning. She is currently under the custody of BJMP 4A in Barangay Turbina, Calamba City.

Authorities added that the Return of Warrant of Arrest is now being prepared for submission to the issuing court, while the Incident Report (IR) has been forwarded to the Police Intelligence Unit (PIU) for proper documentation.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of PLTCOL Dennis C. De Guzman, Officer-in-Charge of the Calamba City Police Station.
