Agusan del Norte – On January 14, 2026, personnel from 1SAB of this Unit provided tactical support to Cabadbaran City Police Station, Agusan del Norte Provincial Police Office together with Provincial Intelligence Team, Agusan del Norte Regional Intelligence Unit 13 in a joint operation that resulted in the arrest of a.k.a. Desna, PSR-listed CTG member under Squad 3, Sub-Regional Sentro de Grabidad, Sub-Regional Committee Westland, North Eastern Mindanao Regional Committee for 2nd Quarter CY 2022 in Brgy. Mahaba, Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte.

The operation was conducted against the suspect by virtue of a Warrant of Arrest with Criminal Case No. 8114-20 for Murder dated July 20, 2020 issued by RTC, 11th Judicial Region, Branch 40, Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.

Cabadbaran CPS, Agusan del Norte PPO took custody of the arrested person for documentation and proper disposition.

The success of the operation underscores the unwavering commitment of the PNP to intensify efforts against communist terrorist groups and ensure that individuals facing criminal charges are brought to justice.
